Picture it…Great Lakes, Illinois…1993, two people meet in a Naval Base Club, and after dating for only three weeks, they decide to get married.  

Meet Shyrone and Rebecca Richardson.  Now married for over 30 years, this dynamic couple invites you to follow them as they share their journey as husband and wife.  Their life experiences, candid conversations, and practical teachings are designed to help you cultivate healthy relationships.  While this ministry is geared towards marriages, what you learn will help every relationship in your life.

Shyrone and Rebecca Richardson are the Founders and Pastors of World Outreach Christian Church in Jersey City, New Jersey.  Their non-denominational ministry reaches across race, ethnicity, and social-economic backgrounds with Biblically sound doctrine that is easy to apply to your everyday life and pushes you to create a deep and personal relationship with Christ.  They have also been teaching and counseling couples for 20+ years, and were the host of a radio show, “Rated ‘R’ for Relationships”.  

Over the years, the Richardsons have learned how to navigate and overcome life’s challenges, twists, and turns, as well as to embrace and celebrate its adventures, achievements, and accomplishments.  They have learned that while marriage does take work, growth, and even compromise, it is also one of the most fulfilling relationships you will experience.  It has brought them to the place where they see the joy of marriage.  They believe marriage should be fun and ever evolving.  They invite you to set aside what you thought marriage was in order to embrace the journey of life together as husband and wife.  In short, they want to help you discover that Marriage is Dope!!
